I'd been so let down & hurt in the past it meant I kept my heart close to my chest. Closed. I was a single mum of three, kids to support, an image to maintain

People jokingly referred to me as 'the iceberg'

That what you actually saw was one ever a fraction of who I really was

They weren't wrong

External appearances were always maintained as the head of my family, the strong one, keeping everything OK for everyone around me

There was always so much going on in my head that no one knew about (more on my story later) & pain inside no one would ever know of

It's crazy how we can be surrounded by so many people yet feel invisible/lonely & that no one understands

When I started my first business back in 2013 I was introduced to a world of personal development & quickly became obsessed!

I learnt so much about setting & achieving goals, the law of attraction, manifesting, coaching & mentoring, online marketing, selling & how to grow a business & I loved it! I also took the plunge & started a new hobby, something I'd wanted to try for a long time, pole fitness & dancing & I loved that too!

Not everyone in my world did though. I found that the more me I became, the bigger the cracks became in my then marriage & in certain friendships too. Jealousy, bitterness, resentment. Gaslighting, name calling, subtle & sometimes blatant digs became more frequent.

A year into my business, I had grown in skills & confidence & I realised that if I was going to be truly happy & successful in my life & business, then I had to make some big decisions & changes.

I walked away from the 13 year relationship & marriage I was in & became a single mum of three. I removed myself from certain social circles & friendships that didn't align or support me anymore

I got to work on me & my business & it lead me on a path of really finding myself, who I was, what I loved, what I was here to do & who I was here to serve - women just like you
